Canoeing the New River

Last weekend we went camping with John’s family for his birthday. It was one of my favorite camping trips this year so far! The weather was gorgeous and we got to go canoeing one day for a few hours down the New River. I’ve never been in a canoe before really.. (I’m a kayaker) so it was a really fun, new experience for me. So was the shallow water and getting hung up on rocks all the time.. haha..
So here’s a few pictures we snapped with our iPhones of the canoeing. Once I get the pictures processed from the camping trip I’ll post those, too. :)
