“Never judge a man’s actions until you know his motives”

“We can never judge the lives of others, because each person knows only their own pain and renunciation. It’s one thing to feel that you are on the right path, but it’s another to think that yours is the only path.”

Judging. The girl surrounded by darkness and demons is screaming from the bottom of her soul for someone to show her light.. to bring her to Jesus because she doesn’t know how. The man all dressed up spiffy and acting all religious.. his heart is heavy and breaking because he is so bound up and is crying for freedom, for a free life in Christ, but he doesn’t know how. The boy who walks around glaring at everyone underneath his long hair and hood, his heart is broken by pain and abuse.. he is longing for someone to love him and lead him to life and beauty and healing. He doesn’t know how to get there.

I promise, with the power of Christ in me, to never judge another person by their actions, by their looks.. one way or another. Only God knows the hearts. There is beauty.. hope.. life.. deep inside every one of us.. Christ can bring that to life!

“There’s beauty that lies deep within, waiting to be discovered. God help me see what you see, the diamond in the stone.” Rebecca St. James

I want to be his hands and feet.. to show them that they are loved.
Love. That is how the world will know that we are Jesus’ disciples.

“Alexander, Caesar, Charlemagne, and I have founded empires. But on what did we rest the creations of our genius? Upon force. Jesus Christ founded his empire upon love; and at this hour millions of men would die for him.” ~Napoleon Bonaparte

ah. good, good thoughts. for me it’s a journey. i think i’m free of judging, and then i find myself judging in a new way that i hadn’t thought of before. so i continue to grow. the judging i see saddens me greatly and breaks my heart.
