Our Thanksgiving traditions..

So we start out the day with thanksgiving sugar cookies and coffee…

.. and more cookies..

… playing music..

(throwing football, too)

.. eating more sugar cookies..

.. and playing games.

We all help prepare dinner (inserting our personal flairs here and there)

And our traditional Thanksgiving dinner:
Smoked turkey,
green bean casserole,

signature mashed potatoes with cream cheese and chives and garlic and cheese, etc,

homemade bread,

ta da!

and of course.. the pumpkin pie. With blue bell butter pecan ice cream. ooh la.

oh and more coffee!
Our thanksgiving tree.. ‎”..So for tonight we pray for what we know can be.. and on this day we hope for
what we still can’t see. It’s up to us to be the change – and even though we all can still do more, there’s so much to be thankful for..”

This post…it made me so HAPPY!! I love everything about it:) Your traditions absolutely rock. The pic of Josh and the sugar cookie made me burst out laughing in a very silent house:P I love your flair with dinner preparations and that food looks AMAZING! Your Thanksgiving tree is beautiful…:) I like the one of the pouring coffee and Josh’s shocked expression in the background. Oh and the one that you caught of your mom’s arrow flying…it’s so awesome!:)

Lol.. he’s so funny! When he realized he was in the pix, that’s how he posed.
Did you noticed the one where Josh is shooting and the football is flying behind him? That one just cracks me up!
